Le Creuset Just Launched a New Cookware Collection

I consider myself an expert on kitchen brands, and one of my favorites is Le Creuset. The brand’s pieces are consistently reliable and durable, but they’re also imaginative and inspiring. While it offers a wide range of kitchen gear, its enameled cast iron cookware and bakeware is the best selection. Whenever Le Creuset launches something new in this category—like it did over the weekend—it’s hard not to add it to my cart. 

The Gourmand collection is Le Creuset’s newest release and the first of its kind. It features single-serve cookware inspired by professional kitchens, allowing you to be a dinner host at home. They can even help figure out the right portion size for each meal. You’ll find sets of individual cocottes, braisers, baking dishes and skillets, ready to be filled with a meal for yourself or loved ones. New Le Creuset Gourmand Collection 

4-Piece Braiser Set

Like all of the items in this collection, this braiser set is made with enameled cast iron and a sleek black finish. The coated interior has a textured matte finish to aid with even browning, similar to the brand’s cast iron skillets. They’re 10.5 ounces each and feature a slightly wider, shallower shape than the cocotte from the collection, making them great for casseroles, dips, single portions of roasted proteins and more. Because it’s enameled cast iron, you can use it on the stove or in the oven up to 500°F. The built-in handles make maneuvering them easy, whether you’re taking them out of the oven or serving them on the table. 

4-Piece Braiser with Lids Set

You can shop some of the cookware, like the braiser set, with lids for added functionality. This is great if you need to lock in moisture as recipes bake in the oven or if you want to keep your dishes warm before serving. The lids also make these great for transporting if you want to bring something to a friend or family member’s house. The lids match the base with a striking black exterior and a shiny silver knob. Despite the small size, the lids still feature the signature embossed borders and Le Creuset logo. 

4-Piece Oval Baker Set

This oval baking dish is such a fun way to serve individual gratins, lasagna, roasted vegetables and more. It’s 10.6 ounces and has an oblong shape that measures 2 x 7 x 4 inches, so there’s a nice amount of depth and length to fit ingredients inside. The built-in handles make it easy to take it from oven to table, making this a bakeware and serving piece. They stack neatly for streamlined storage when they’re not in use. 

4-Piece Skillet Set

This set might be the cutest of all. It includes four mini 6-inch skillets for all of your gooey cookies, decadent brownies, buttery cornbreads and more delicious bakes.
